WWE legend Chris Jericho has now launched his own brand of sparkling wine, after his ‘a little bit of the bubbly’ catchphrase went viral.
The former WWE superstar and current AEW World Champion has been famous for his athleticism and his ‘Walls of Jericho’ finishing move, as well as his intense storylines with the likes of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and Christian.
Since his professional wrestling debut in 1990 as the ‘Cowboy’, the star has since been the undisputed WWE World Champion and has led an innovative and successful career, constantly tweaking and reinventing his character to stay relevant throughout different generations of fans.
Jericho has delved into TV, film, music, writing, comedy and podcasting amongst many other endeavours throughout his fruitful career.
A Little Bit of the Bubbly
And the 49-year-old is now making waves in other ways. After claiming the inaugural World Championship at All Elite Wrestling’s All Out PPV in August 2019, Jericho’s stylish celebrations caught the attention of the internet.
Following his victory, Jericho went backstage to enjoy ‘a little bit of the bubbly’ and revel in his glory. The phrase became a meme, a t-shirt and then a recurring saying for the superstar.
The WWE Raw legend collaborated with Nocking Point Wines, the Columbia Valley winemaker who regularly release wines with famous actors, to cash in on the rapidly growing popularity of his newfound catchphrase.
‘A Little Bit of the Bubbly’ is described as a ‘100% ultra-premium American sparkling wine’. Nocking Point Wines explains the story behind the wine in the product description on their website: “The inspiration was sparked by Chris Jericho’s one-man backstage celebration after winning the first AEW World Champion title on Sept. 1, 2019, when he revelled with a little of the bubbly.”

When the wine became an instant hit with fans, Jericho took to Instagram to celebrate the early success of his wine, posting: “Unbelievable to hear that #ALittleBitOfTheBubbly sold 10,000 bottles in just over 2 days!”
